Tramigo Landmark Data (TLD) FAQ

How often does Tramigo update landmark data?

Due to the dynamic and changing nature of landmark data, Tramigo is committed to update and verify every landmark dataset annually.

How accurate is Tramigo landmark data?

Since all landmarks are verified and geo-referenced individually, Tramigo does NOT generate any data from inaccurate and generalised third party databases - position accuracy of landmark data is therefore extremely high (within 50 m).

Why does my town not have any POI data?

Due to memory size limitations, the Tramigo T22 contains 2000 landmark points. The size of every landmark dataset is optimized in a way that POI landmark data covers all major cities.
The user can also add their own personal landmarks.

Can I load my own landmark data sets into the Tramigo device?

No, since all landmark datasets are pre-loaded in the device by Tramigo. However, the user can add additional landmarks to his/her device by using the ADDPLACE command.

How far apart are landmarks from each other (landmark density)?

Landmark density varies between capitals and major cities (50 Metres – 2 Kilometres) to rural areas, where village density defines the distance of individual landmarks.
